It is our goal to give our puppies a great start in life so they have the potential to become well adjusted adult dogs. We do several things in our program to set our puppies up for success, including exposure and enrichment activities, daily handling, introduction to crate and potty training, and temperament testing.
Before they are even born, so much care and intention goes into every litter, from selecting parents with desirable traits, health testing our dams & sires to ensure we are doing what we can to produce healthy puppies, to the nutrition and care we give our momma dogs through pregnancy & whelping, the effort put into every puppy we raise begins long before they are born.

These tests help us understand the puppies on a much deeper level than what we observe from simply interacting with them. Personality and temperament are not set in stone this early in development, but these tests can help us recognize potentials for each puppy.
02
We take each puppy individually and put them through a series of situations while we watch and record their reactions. This is then analyzed to understand how their test score affects what lifestyle or work (service, therapy, hunting) they would be most suitable for.
01
Think of puppy temperament testing like a puppy aptitude test to identify each puppy's personality in order to predict what type of owner/lifestyle they would be most compatible with. We test the puppies for traits such as human-focus, confidence, prey drive, etc.
Our puppies will go home conditioned to crates. They will be accustomed to spending short periods of time in a crate, working up in length as they get older, so they adjust easier to crate training in their new home.
Our puppies are litter potty trained with a shallow litter tray on one end of their pen. They naturally learn to distinguish their potty area from their play/sleeping are. We also take them outside for potty breaks if its nice.
We socialize our puppies to new stimuli such as environments, textures, objects, sounds, children, animals, etc. By providing mental and physical challenges daily, we help our pups develop skills and confidence.
Our puppies experience lots of grooming exposure! They will have their nails trimmed, bathed, gently brushed, blow dried & clipped (Poodle Pups) several times before heading to their new homes.
We handle our puppies daily and perform handling exercises like puppy massages to ensure they are well conditioned to being touched everywhere, picked up, held, and loved on.
We perform ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction) exercises at 3-16 days of age. ENS exercises stimulate the neurological system and ESI enhances nose awareness.
Each puppy comes with our puppy manual e-book we curated with lots of helpful information about puppy training.
