Puppy Deposit Agreement

The Buyer agrees to pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 + applicable tax to reserve a pick number for a puppy from the litter stated above or a specific puppy (if selections have already taken place). The Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance of the purchase price prior to or at pickup. The Buyer acknowledges that the puppy will be ready to be picked up around nine weeks of age (at the Seller's discretion). The Buyer acknowledges that if the puppy is not picked up before 10 weeks of age, the Seller will require an additional fee of $25/day that the puppy remains with the Seller. The Buyer agrees that the deposit is for the litter or puppy stated above, and is not transferable to a different litter. The Buyer acknowledges that the time that they place their deposit and reserve their pick number for the litter,  will determine how many puppies they will have to select from at approximately seven to eight weeks of age. The Seller reserves the right to first pick from every litter, should the Seller decide to keep back a breeding prospect, which will in turn move every pick down one place. The Seller reserves the right to refuse a puppy selection choice if the Seller feels the match would not be compatible or suitable for the Buyer or puppy. If the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident, the Seller agrees to refund the deposit. The Seller reserves the right to void this transaction and refund the deposit if the Seller learns of any reason the Buyer might not be suitable for the puppy.
